Could wise and wonderful beings speak to us from beyond this world to help reveal our true potential?

That’s one of the questions author and Reiki Master Gaetano Vivo asked when he was just a child. When Gaetano was a little boy growing up in Italy, he had visions of Angels who offered him support and guidance. Their gentle words helped him answer many of the questions he had about life. These Angels told him about higher dimensional realms, about healing, and about consciousness in ways his young mind was able to comprehend. Spirit Guides: Mentors from Beyond our Here and Now

Spirit Guides exist as energy, in the cosmic realm, or as light beings that can transcend realms. Spirit Guides are the energy of highly evolved individuals that have lived through many lifetimes, having paid their karmic debt, and advanced beyond a need to reincarnate.

Many devotees believe that Spirit Guides are chosen on ‘the other side’ by human beings who are about to incarnate and desire assistance. However at any time in life we have several lineages of Spirit Guides upon which we can call; from saints like Francis of Assisi, Padre Pio, or Mother Theresa, to past tribal elders from the four original tribes that first walked upon this earth as ‘human beings’.

Spirit Guides are with us to help us on our path encouraging growth and the internal resilience and independence to make choices and live with the outcomes. As mentors, they offer us the opportunities to learn from experiences in this life, however joyful or traumatic in order that we elevate our being, physically, emotionally and consciously. Always ready to offer advice when invited to do so, without judgement or resentment should we choose to ignore or oppose their help. They realise that some mistakes have to be made to make us stronger.

Spirit Guides are personal to each individual, and so it is best for the individual to come to discover them for themselves. A good way to communicate with your Guides is through meditation, prayers or mantras, quiet contemplation can also allow them to appear but they may offer their presence using music or even nature, through the appearance of animal guides, often ‘winged beings’ like owls, crows, robins and dragonflies.

Healing with Reiki – the Energy that Powers All Life

While many people might not yet be familiar with Reiki, the concept of the ‘laying on of hands’ is not a new idea. If pain is experienced, or children injure themselves, the first thing we are inclined to do is to put our hands on the affected area, to ‘make it better.’ Human touch provides warmth and feelings of nurturing and love. Many kinds of therapy incorporate touch as part of the healing process.

Reiki is one such therapy. Literally meaning ‘the energy that powers all life’, Reiki is an incarnation of the most ancient form of ‘transferred healing energy’ known throughout the world as a source of unconditional love, harmony and beauty for the Earth and its people.

The origins of the power of Reiki are as old as time. It is a form of healing energy that is at the heart of the Universe and of all living things. Regardless of how we, as individuals or cultures, attempt to explain the origins and nature of the planets, the Universe or existence itself, we always come back to the same force: life-giving and sustaining energy. This is Reiki.

Reiki healing is a complete process. While it surely alleviates the immediate symptoms, it goes much deeper to address the root causes of an ailment. Thus it has the power to fully resolve the cause of ill health, allowing the recipient to work through and move on with their lives. Through the healing process, we return to the state of alignment with our Higher Selves –- our true way of being.

It is my goal to channel the power and beauty of Reiki into all those who are seeking the harmony of direct connection with Universal Energy for the purpose of individual and wider healing and unification.

The Truth About Angels: Do We Come Alone into this World?

Why we humans are here on Earth has been debated, analysed and mulled over since we embraced the idea there must be more to life. There must be a point to our being. We ask ourselves:

Why and how do we come into this world?
Do we come alone?
And if not, who comes with us and why?

I believe we make a choice to visit or return to this Earth plane in order to express something. Perhaps is it something we failed to do in our previous reincarnation. Perhaps it is an experience (or multiple experiences) we have to go through again to reach ‘Nirvana’– the transcended state of being that unites us with our Creator; a state where we ‘blow out’ all Earthly desires and dwell in ‘bliss’.

Reincarnation after reincarnation, we come to Earth to experience whatever we need to ‘let it all go’ until we have worked through our karma and finally want for nothing. But this is never an easy undertaking for the soul.

The truth is this: we are not alone when we come into this world. We have company. We are always brought in by energies in the form of Guardian Angels who guide us through our experiences — the challenges we go through and towards.

What few people know is that we have more than one Guardian Angel during the course of our life. Our Guardian Angels will change according to the challenges we face, until we come to the end of our life. At this point the two Guardian Angels we are born with return to take us through the tunnel where we have the opportunity to examine this life just lived, before we reach the other side.

Then, when we decide to come into this world again, we map out our best options–our family, the location and the people we will meet, and so many other things—so we can work through the lessons we have to learn, so we can clear our karma more quickly and come closer to a state of wholeness, unity and love.

Although he was forced to ignore this information (being brought up in a strict catholic community), he never forgot. For decades, Gaetano has been treating clients from all walks of life, regardless of faith or creed, believing that the power of love to heal is not exclusive. When not touring he divides time between his homes in England and Italy and takes great delight in his garden.
